As a Service Designer, I am committed to using visual design and human-centered frameworks to make social services more accessible, equitable, and dignified.

I’ve cultivated my design praxis at the Service Design Studio, the nation’s first municipal team dedicated to improving services for low-income residents. We partner with city agencies and work to shift power to communities with lived experience.

In Service Design, we design social services around the needs of the people who use and administer them. We use participatory methods, human-centered design, and iterative thinking processes to shift power dynamics and develop ways to tinker with bureaucracy.
